Linux / Unix system administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Maintenance and development of a Linux / Unix environment
  • Crisis management
  • Client server administration
  • Response to end user problem calls

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Expertise with Gentoo, CentOS, Debian systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a group
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in English
  • Expertise with Apache, qmail, proftp, MySQL, postgreSQL, postfix
  • Experience with PHP, Perl programming languages​​

ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL:

  • Expertise with MS Windows operating systems
  • Expertise with MS Exchange Server, MS SQL
  • Expertise with issues associated with hosting
  • Experience in the IT industry
  • Expertise with network issues
