The S-NET Network

The S-NET network means primarily:

  • Proprietary telecommunication resources
  • A fiber optic network in Cracow and other Polish cities
  • Contacts with operators and content providers realized in various locations
  • Traffic exchange nodes
  • Technical Support operating 24/7 (S-NET NOC)
  • Accessibility of links up to 10Gbps
  • A backbone based on brand name devices, and working on the basis of 10GbE interfaces

S-NET is a member of Polish internet traffic exchanges, such as: TPIX, PLIX, KIX, CIX, AC-X, has connections with Tier-1 class operators (NTT, CogentCo) as well as Polish Telecom (Telekomunikacja Polska TPSA).

The access network and backbone are supervised 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by S-NET NOC.
