Internet Access

For S-NET Operators we propose several solutions. First of all, we allow for the purchase of separate connections for different Internet resources. The procedure allows for the optimization of network infrastructure costs.

Available connections for operators:

  • MIX access - access to all operators
    Key features:
    - 100% bandwidth for all operators, including TPNET
    - service is available across all S-NET access points
  • Transit to selected foreign operators (NTT / CogentCo)
    - direct BGP sessions with selected operators
    - access to the backbone network operators are realized in various nodes (CogentCo - Cracow, NTT, Telia-New York)
    - service is available across all S-NET access points
    - BGP protocol is required to terminate the session
    - the possibility of calculating traffic according to 95th percentile
  • Access to Polish Operator resources (PLIX / CIX / / KIX) excluding the TPNET network (TPSA)
    - possibility of obtaining own port on a given node (servicing of traffic by S-NET only through L2)
    -  the possibility of calculating traffic according to 95th percentile
  • Access to TPNET (TPSA) network resources Key features:
    - The service is realized based on a self-access connection with S-NET
    - the maximum bandwidth for a single port is 1Gbps

Characteristics common to all services for ISPs

  • Sessions may be terminated by BGP protocol
  • S-NET provides support for domains, DNS (secondary and primary)
  • S-NET provides for the required number of IP addresses of the PA type as allocated based on PI type addresses
  • For the majority of services we provide for the possibility of calculating traffic according to 95th percentile
  • Round-the-clock management of the NOC network centre in Cracow

A part of S-Net's service offer as a LIR is the allocation and assignment of IP addresses of the PI type and the AS number. S-NET engineers also assist in the selection, implementation and administration of ad-hoc network devices, and devices supporting the operation of networks and their monitoring.
